Try the Atlanta Community Food Bank www.acfb.org or by calling 211 within the metro Atlanta area or at 404/614-1000 outside it.  

Sign up for food stamps as well.  Go to www.dfcs.dhr.georgia.gov for sign up info, etc.

free food? your pretty much out of luck.

unless your talking about like soup kitchens and what not.

i would suggest going to costco and eating all the samples on a saturday.
