Are you meaning game demonstrations? If you are, you might go to your local gaming store (not toy store), many of the local game stores have a game night where you can learn to play games at no cost.

Another idea is to look at a gaming convention. This is where you can spend several days learning how to play games, see new games that are being released from the manufacturers or even play in game tournaments.
