  1. The Lake district is lovely, especially at this time of year.

  2. Try Suffolk as previously suggested there are plenty of walks around Southwold - afterwards try The Swan best pub in the area.

  3. Lake District and around that area which is beautiful and friendly.

The Food is good and the beer is good.

  4. Heres the perfect place, the South Hams...........

    Look below....

  5. In and around the New Forest area in hampshire is lovely nice places to eat scattered throughout and you can enjoy watching the wild ponies roaming around.

  6. cornwall

  7. St David in Wales its beautiful!!

  8. Peak District or Wales

  9. oxford

  10. Yorkshire and the Lake District.

Both are famous for their walking (I live just below the Pennine Way) and have amazing scenery.  They also have fab traditional pubs which generally serve good pub food.

Try visiting Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire - it's famous for being the most liberal town in Britain and is right in the heart of the Pennines.  If you do go I recommend the walk in Blake Dean, and you can visit The Ridge pub up in Colden, which is around that walking route and serves as I remember great food!

  11. We always go to a fantastic Pub in Long Bucky, Northamptonshire called the New Inn. Its on the Grand  Union Canal so you can walk right along the tow-path. The food is by far the best pub food I have ever had. It is gorgeous. To get there, the best thing to do is drive along the A5, park in the pubs car park then have a good walk up the tow-path and back to work up an appetite!

  12. Come on down to Suffolk. There is an awful lot to choose from.

I'd google suffolk"walks" and see what you get.

  13. Hi just go to the New Forest ,Burly,Sway, Brockenhurst nice long walks and some great places to eat at. lovely tea house (old station house ticket office) on walk from Sway to Burly on the old railway line
