Where can you add text to a picture?

Question

All I want to do is add a bit of text to a picture and when I do it in paint it has a big box around it and I don't want that.

Anyone know any alternatives

You can try using Adobe Photoshop.

open your image. just click the Type Tool. then click on your image. u have to drag a typing box for typing. thats it.

u can change setting for Font in Character.

remember to save it as .PSD and also .JPEG

you can definately try abobe photoshop. It is amazing for altering images and making them absolutely amazing. there qre diffrent fonts to choose from, different effects, and you can even type up and down! hope this helps=)

Try lunapic a free on line photo editor. For text click draw>text tool.
