Any American specialty store will have.  Some of the hypermarts have an American section these days.

If you add Ameretto to Coke, it tastes just like root beer. Try going to an American specialty store, you'll probably find root beer there

I don't know where you can find it but it's a lot of trouble to make and it tends to explode.

I live in Canada, so I won't be able to tell you the exact place, but they usually have root beers in all grocery stores.
