Where can you buy a Tortious in Indianapolis?!?

I have been looking for pet stores that I can buy a land turtle (tortious) and I have only for a few and they are over $100. I really don't want to pay that much for a tortious.

I was wondering if anyone has found some online or if there is a pet store that has them for less.

any help would be great.

Please think about adopting one.  It's usually free and you would be giving one a much needed home.  Look for a local rescue.  If you can't find one - try Long Island Turtle Rescue, or Turtle Homes.  Good luck!  :)

i would not pay less for a tortoise $100 is about right, the problem you get when you buy a cheaper tortoise is they are often wild caught and most of the time they end up dying through sickness or stress, you get what you pay for and cheap tortoises are false economy, just sold by people who don't care about the tortoise but just want the money, a sick tortoise will cost you more than $100 in vet bills so just save up a bit more money and get a tortoise that will not die within the first month.
