Where can you buy a red ear slider turtle under 2 1/2 in?

i live in gaithersburg md and not sure where to buy thank you for helping

Outside the U.S. It is illegal to sell a turtle less than 4" here because of the possibility of Samonella bacteria. If you buy one that is smaller, you are encouraging people to break the law.

You can't buy one legally, but pet stores still sell them that small. You are breaking the law if you do.

The 4 inch law is a bunch of B.S. It IS NOT illegal to buy or own a turtle under 4 inches. it is only illegal to sell them.
