Where can you buy a skunk?

can you buy a skunk in a pet store? people tell me that i can. and are skunks ok with ferrets? they are from the same family and do they eat the same food?

in most states (if not all) you are not able to buy skunks in a pet store and are required to have a special license in order to own one.

don't buy a skunk and no u cant buy one and if it gets scared it will spray u and u will need to take a bath in tomato's it happened to be when i saw one and i got spread

Skunks are wild animals and should not be kept as pets. I'm pretty sure that would be illegal.

In some states, you have to buy the skunk from a licensed breeder in your state. In some states, you have to buy the skunk from a licensed breeder in a DIFFERENT state. And in some states, you can't have skunks at all.

It is illegal in every state to keep a skunk who came from the wild. Pet skunks should always come from breeders who have domestic skunks.
