Actually  you can  buy  a  title,  Zsa  Zsa Gabor's  husband  bought  his.  He  wasn't  born  a  prince in  Germany.  But I  degress,  most  Lords,  Ladies,  Duchesses,  etc  gain  their titles  through  birth  or  marriage.  For   instance,  Diana  was  a  Lady  because  her  father  was  an  Earl,  however  Princesses  Cristina  and  Elena  of  Spain  received  their titles  of  Duchess  of  Lugo  {Cristina}  and  Duchess  of Mallorca(Elena)   upon  their  marriages.  Their latter  titles  were  bestowed  on  them  by  their  father,  King Juan  Carlos.

Can't be done.  Anyone who offers to sell you anything purporting to be a UK title is scamming you.

Some unscrupulous companies will tell you that if you buy certain property, you are Lord or Lady of the Manor and may use the style Lord or Lady.  This is a crock of poo.

Zsa Zsa's husband bought his "Prince" title by paying a German "princess" to adopt him.  Whee.

You can't "buy" a title, you inherit it or you marry somebody who has a title. There are places offering to sell titles, but those are just a scam, and anybody in the know would recognize that immediately.

What you are talking about is the nobility, royalty is a separate class altogether.
