Where can you buy carpet in the Metro Atlanta Area that is cheap?

I am looking for preferably polyester. I need 174 square feet or 19.3333 square yards. I found some Shaw Carpet that I like but it is a little pricing.

  1. There are a lot of budget carpet outlets in Atlanta but if you can drive up to Dalton you can get a bigger bargain going directly to the mills.   Anyplace selling Mohawk carpet may be a good possibility because of the company cutbacks.   http://www.switchboard.com/swbd.main/dir...  and http://www.altavista.com/web/results?ita... give you info on the mills and outlets in Dalton.   You may be able to get a better price on the exact carpet you liked if you know the specific name of it and the color name shopping them by phone.  Some of the places there deliver to metro Atlanta.

  2. Check here:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i...

    You can find it.

    Good luck!

  3. The best place I can suggest is not really in Metro Atlanta, but in Dalton GA. Carpets of Dalton.

  4. The carpet capital of the world is just 1 hour north of Atlanta in Dalton. Every major carpet manufacturer in the US has a mill in Dalton GA.

Rent a truck, take a drive and bring home your carpet for way less than you could find even at the bargain warehouses here in town.

Find a local installer or do the job yourself.
