  1. They are not dyed, if you are talking about the green button mums.  They are commonly called Kermits.  

    They are in huge production in south american countries, as well as states like california and montana.  

    I think that they don't sell the plants because they aren't showy enough.  Flowers and plants are a hard business to be in, and if something isn't going to sell enough, you cannot afford to keep giving it chances.  

    Look online to see if you can purchase seeds from the grower.  That might be your best bet.


  2. Those are white one that are painted or dyed.

    They do similar things to poinsettias too now.  You can get them in blue, purple, yellow, pink....

  3. Many of the colorful flowers that you see in flower arrangements are actually sprayed to make it that color.  I'm sure you've seen blue ones, too.  They're sprayed, as are most of the "different" colors you see.
