  2. Rules is excellent and full of history.  It is just of the Strand.  best of all for roast, however, has to be Simpsons in the Strand.  Massive roast are brought to your table and carved in  front of you.  It is a must to have dined there at least once.

  6. You can't beat a home-cooked roast.  If you don't fancy cooking then invite yourself round to a friend's one weekend!

    Best Sunday Roast I get.

  10. Their is a great place near covent garden. Its down a side street. They carve the meat in front of you.

    My memory has got the better of me this morning though.

  13. go to a gastro pub as much better food and there are  few in london now.. how about the eagle in farringdon, or the anchor and hope in waterloo or the engineer in chalk farm. all delicious x

  14. The Duke of Wellington pub on Portobello Road, Notting Hill does a great Sunday roast for about £10.  Good for people watching too.

  15. How about at Rules - it'll cost you a packet though...
