Well, first off, salamander offspring aren't called larvae, they are amphibians, not insects. Based on what limited salamander knowledge I have (amphibian biodiversity field school in china) I would say that if you have fast running mountain streams, and are not too far north, you might. I don't know much about the geography of Ontario, but I know here in Washington State we have them.
