  1. China Rose hired me when i was 14, though my 15th bday was 2 weeks later, they definately hire 15 yr olds cause i had like 3 others working with me.

I worked at the one on walzem rd.

I really hope you are able to get the job.

    :)

  2. Here are some options I explored:

    1. Drive out IH 10 where some farms are, toward but not all the way to Boerne and just go door to door.  I believe there is a horse stable somewhere down old camp bullis rd where you could work.

    2. A self owned restaurant, such as rudy's

    3.  Babysitting!!!!!!   That works well!

    4. Go to a country club and ask to work in the tennis or golf shop as a caddie.

I'll get back to you with more answers, I can call my friend who is presently living there and ask anywhere else she can think of.  I will email if necessary.

    GOod lucK!

  3. It's going to be hard because of your age. Babysitting is always a possibility. Check your local YMCA or Red Cross and take a babysitting course to become certified. You can charge more and it will sow you are serious.

  4. well i dont really think any place hires 14 year olds....but what u can do is check at the self-owned restaurants....maybe they need help somewhere and would pay you cash.

  5. Go with one of your parents to the nearest office of Workforce Solutions - Alamo (Alamo Worksouce) and have your parent ask the Customer Service rep  for an Age of Consent form.

Have the parent fill it out and sign it,then mail it to the address on the form.

You will be receiving a Workers permit. Under federal law,you have to be sixteen to work in most non farm jobs. While you're waiting for your permit to arrive, take your birth certificate and Social Security card to Department of Motor Vehicles to  get yourself an "Under 21" state issued ID card.

Everywhere you apply for work, you'll have to submit a photo copy of your permit until you become sixteen.

We all have to start somewhere,so the best place I can recommend is fast food.

Also while you're at it,go to the following web site:

    www.workintexas.com

Click on "Register As Job Seeker"

Here, you're going to regiter with the State of Texas for work. You need to indicate personal info, what type of work do you want and what level of pay do you want for that work.

Do you want full time or part time? What part of the city do you want to work in?

Fill in al required info such as education level and any experience you might have. Over time, you will need to update your info as you get older and or change jobs.
