Where can i get some? I wanted black lycra leggingsor tights (whatever they are called) for skating but i cant find any really. If you could give a site to find some that would be great or maybe a store name or something. Or should I just wear some regular leggings from a clothing store?Thx for answering!

  1. im not exactly sure what you mean but im sure you'll find sumthing here. if you are lookin for those black tights kinda thing, there were/are a few in the clearance section so check this web

    www.rainbosports.com

  2. Wherever you get them, I suggest getting the ones that are specifically athletic or dance (yoga included as someone above mentioned).

I've tried all of them . . . from cheapie ones to ok street ones to nice skating ones.  The cheapie ones don't keep you warm and sometimes don't fit right (at least not for moving around vigorously in).  Same with some of the regular street ones.  Athletic ones are more durable and seem to last longer (especially through many washes!) and just fit better so you're not pulling up or tugging your leggings when you skate!!

Specialty dance/skate/athletic shops should carry them . . . they can be pricey, but mostly worth the money.  But places like Target, where it's cheaper, did me just fine.

Weren't you in Valencia?  My friend told me about this shop in Canyon Country but I've never gone there.  Not sure if it still exists, but their info is still online:

    Skin Tite Discount Dance Wear

26845 Oak Ave -Canyon Country, CA 91351

    (661) 298-5889

If you're ever out in the "Valley", I used to go to this place:

    Apparel Warehouse Inc

    6010 Yolanda Ave -Tarzana, CA , 91356-1422

    818-344-3224

They had everything - some things cheap, some not.  They used to have a stamp a card where if you buy up to a certain amount, you could get a free leotard or some percentage off your next purchase.  But check your stuff out before you buy them - there's a reason why it may be discounted!   They also had parking lot sales like twice a year - I got a bunch of old skating outfits for like $5 - $10 one time!

They also have a sister store in Westwood if you head out to LA called "Shelly's" that has more quality stuff.  They have a website - but I know the actual store has much more stuff.  They had an annual parking lot sale too.

    Shelly's

2089 Westwood Blvd. - Los Angeles, Ca 90025

    (800) 743 - 5597

And I used to go to KOS - comfy clothing (I think a lot of yoga type stuff)!  My friend and used to go when they had their $5/$10 sales.  They had awesome mail catalogs.

    Kos Active

13940 Ventura Blvd. - Sherman Oaks, CA 91423

    (818) 905-8891

Of course these places may be a bit far from Valencia .. . and sorry if I'm mistaken that you are in Valencia.  But that's where I went for my leggings if I couldn't find them at places like Target!   :)

  3. try discountdance.com

or go to just buy a pair of tights from a loccal store or something

  4. i'm thinking you are talking about the practice legging/pants...

    skatewear websites are great.

My personal favorites are se_ku skatewear long and leggy designs.  They come in all black, black with colors adn a few other colors.  They are super cute, comfortable, longlasting, and flattering.  So cute go chekc them out!

they are a bit pricey but htey last adn are definately worth it!!

  5. I bought a pair of yoga pants from Target and they work great.

  6. eBay has alot of skating stuff:
