Craigslist has some, but you need to be careful, there are scams a plenty in there.

Tell who ever you're buying from that you intend to take it to a mechanic go over it.  My experience: only about 1/2 private sellers will let you do that.  Private lots and Dealerships about 80%.  You want to take what ever car you're going to buy to have it checked out.
