Well another cool heavy armour you can get is, full ebony.

first get a few claymores from the imperial arena, then go to the waterfront district and go directly south from it, through the water, till you come to "Old Bridge" head west once you get their, they'll be some ruins that start with a V, go inside and get past the traps and minor creatures, eventually you'll meet up in a room with pillars, some chick that's name starts with a U. Jump up on the table, then the pillar, and hit her with a ranged attack, switch to your claymore and take her out, she has a great sword and armour.
