  1. on venus

  2. Coniferous and mixed forests, swamps. Most of Canada, extending down thru the Rockies as far as Texas, down thru the Midwest as far as St Louis, and down in the East along the Appalacians as far as the SC- AL border.

  3. north Ala.  skyline mountain. I'll see if i can fine some pictures for you.

  4. In the midwest, Illinois for example.

They don't seem to be in river bottom areas though, you need to be on higher ground and they are outnumbered by the grays.

  5. They live in pine forested areas of New England. As a kid I used to see them a lot in Plymouth Massachusetts. They eat pinecone seeds, among other things. In Oak forest areas the gray squirrels are more dominant. I would key in on habitats with pine forests.

  6. in the trees. Actually in the UK or England. That is where they originated from.

  7. The UK

  8. Go into google - click on images at the top.

Enter red squirrel into the search box.

You have options to select only, say, large images too if you want.

  9. Northeast US.   They look kinda like a chipmunk, but without the stripe down the back and they don't hibernate in the winter.   They are not native to the area and are killing off the spruce trees because they chew off the spruce cones before they are fully mature.    Niagra falls area has black squirrels...

  10. build a squirrel steal trap

  11. Search the Missouri Department of Conservation web site for a story on red squirrels.
