i tried a tool science put i turned it on and i turned off and it kept on doing it then it broke in half, and i only had it for 6 months

The CHI is the best straightener, hands down. The only problem is that it's kinda expensive. But I think it's worth it. It doesn't catch your hair and it works quickly, even with damp hair. It's about $120 at Ulta.

i think conair makes the best hair straighteners. definatly get a ceramic one too! you can get them at target. i would get one that is about thirty-forty dollars. and lower than that and they start to get cheap and crappy.
