Its hard not to miss. If you are coming from the city  of Cagayan de Oro , its  about 40 minutes ride non-stop to the east. Its the next town of bugo. The landmarks to watch out for is the Del Monte Philippines, w/c tells you that you are in bugo and just a few more minutes, on the right side of your car you can see a square well-trimmed plaza sometimes on christmas its well lit , that is the municipality of tagoloan.

The municipality of Tagoloan is in the province of Misamis Oriental. Its land area is quite small so it was not qualified to be a city.

Tagoloan is the first Municipality that you will pass by when going to Butuan City from Cagayan de Oro City. It takes 30 minutes atmost going there by taxi from the city of Cagayan de Oro.
