  1. First off truecredit.com is not a realistic picture of your scores at all.  They can and are off up to 100 points.  Sometimes they are higher than the actual scores sometimes much lower.

If you owe any debts you are wasting money on scores that really have little meaning or comparison to the actual scores you have.  Pay the fee on the debts that are keeping you at those low scores.

After 6 months of excellent history with Cap 1 SOMETIMES they will issue you aanother account.

  2. Try this site http://www.forevercc.com they seem to have many available options.

  3. First go to www.fico.com for your true FICO scores. On their forum website you will find good information on which cards to try for with your credit score. The sight has a wealth of information from the people who actually do the scoring.

  4. You should not be paying for credit reports to begin with! www.freecreditreport.com is where you need to go. Or you could go to the site of each major credit reporting agency and get a free report from each of them and do it at different times, say 4 months apart, and you will then get 3 free reports a year! As for your credit card, you could try starting off with a prepaid credit card that say has a limit of $500. Use it and pay off the balance every month and on time. After a year of doing this it will show on your credit report that you can pay your bill on time. This will also help your credit score. Just don't get carried away with any credit card.

  5. pay your debts off, then your score will go up and then you will get lots of pre-approved cards.

  6. Best bet is to get a credit union credit card. Are you member of any credit union?

Also every time you apply for a credit card, your credit score goes down by 5 or 6 points so don't apply for too many cards.
