Preliminary title reports are pretty expensive, you are not going to find a free one. Try going to the register of deeds office, they MIGHT help you, but as the first answer said, I wouldnt recommend it unless you know what you are looking for. These searches also involve tax and court judgment searches..one missing piece of info can s***w up your entire report.

You might get one for about $200 or less.

I DO NOT recommend that unless you work in the business...mainly, because you will have no idea of what you are looking for.
