Where can you get one pound drinks in a pub in London?

A friend I met was telling me about a pub somewhere in London that loves Aussies and they have one pound drinks. And its like two pounds for a double scotch. Does anyone know what its called because I can't for the life of me remember what its called.

There is a club/bar in soho called cheapskates. I think its on a wednesday night - very cheap drinks - or maybe try  weather spoons pub.
