Where can you get sketchbooks.?

Question

Where can i get one? like i want to get it for my friends birthday. but i really don't know where to get one. I want to get her a black one. But the only problem is i want to get her a special one that's for drawing Anime and stuff. But i think theres a special kind of book but i don't know!

----If you can't help me decide on that well can you help me with something else?

she's like a tomboy but then she likes hollister and abercrombie and fitch but i wanna get her something NICER than that. and she likes Anime so i dont HELP!!!

Micheal's, Target, or Wal-mart. Walmart has the leather black sketchbook for a good price.

If you're looking for nicer ones, try art supply stores.  Michaels, Borders, Books-a-Million and Barnes & Nobel also carry them.

At shops like Barnes and Noble and Borders [among other places], they sell notebooks called Moleskins [pronounced Mole-eh-skeens]. They are simple, and usually come in black or brown, and have a different variety of sheet styles [blank, graph, lined]. The same style has been used by many great artists and writers. I couldn't recommend these notebooks and sketchbooks more. They usually retail for around 15-17 bucks.

They also come in different sizes, and even the bigger ones fit into a purse nicely.

I have to sketch for school and the BEST skechbooks are called Moleskin books. You can get them usually at any art store and Barnes and Noble has them too. Usually only about $16.00. But they are usually black. The pages are perfect for sketching. There are tons of different ones. Also...Microns are great pens for sketching too :)
