Where can you get your favorite TV shows online???

Hello, i'm looking for an application or website to download my favorite TV shows (For free btw). any ideas???

I don't like downloading, even if you have to pay for it, because it takes time and the image is jumpy. I don't mind watching one add every 10 minutes, while the next section is getting ready for viewing.

You can go to all the tv channel websites (ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, SCI...) and a lot of them have most of their shows for free.

You have some exceptions, I have no idea why, like you cannot get ER on NBC and you cannot get Stargate Atlantis on SCI, but those are exceptions.

Every years, the websites add more shows for free so I hope in the near future, everything will be there.

Edit: I watch shows like Desperate Housewives or Lost online for free because the quality is better than my tv and I only have to watch one add every 10 minutes (compared to 5 minutes of ads every 10 mn on my tv and even fast forwarding is annoying).
