  1. i am sure a car painter could paint a snowboard but they would need special kinds of paint stuff

  2. i have my board painted to, i had my friend do it. you just think of a design and tape off what you want and make stencils, and just use spray paint. Yes, the paint will chip off but its better than having an ugly board and its not like the paint comes off in huge chunks, just tiny little scratches. Also, its easy enough so you can just change it around every couple seasons if your that worried about scratches.

  3. um look it up on google and theres a link tells u everything u need aand how much if ur doing like well here first get off all grease and wax wear ur painting then get the tone put the toner on first then get the colors put that on anyway u want then put on an other coat like primer to protect from water damage and stuff than wait till dry peel of ur design thing an wall ah

  4. yes a "car painter" could do it but the only thing is that just like if it were on a car, the paint will scratch and chip. your board is gonna take a lot more direct hits than your car (i hope) and the edges especially get pretty torn up. Some paints are better than others for this but nothing will be as long lasting as the factory graphics!

  5. Getting a board painted isn't really that great an idea, it'd be a waste of money and effort.

Painting the top deck would be possible but you'd have to sand it down and strip off the finish, repaint and then seal it up in such a manner that it doesn't chip off.

Painting the base would be pretty tricky because the base of the board is porous so that it will hold wax which is a pretty key to your board sliding down snow.

Save up a few bucks and find the sickest board you can and buy that one.

Even though there are so many boarders all over the place now I've never seen someone with the same board as me, or the same board as anyone else at the mountain that day unless they're rental decks.
