  1. Where I go if you take the rim to them, they'll remove the old, mount and balance the new for $20. If you bring the entire bike for them to remove the rim it's $5 more.

  2. $84.50 in labor to put a tire on? Or is that total for a tire and the labor?

If that's the fee - it's outrageous find another place

If that's the total (tire and install labor fee) you are outrageous and risking your life with a cheapo tire that cost $40 or so.

If you buy the tire there then it shouldn't cost more then $40 or so for the install

$84.50 labor is a reward incentive for not buying a tire from them isn't it?

  3. why are all you people bringing your bikes in to shops to have minor (or for that matter, major as well) work done ?

a motorcycle is a very basic machine to work on yourself,go to the library and borrow a manual,do the work yourself and save the money for other things.

    y'all sound like a bunch of R.U.B.S.

go to you tube and watch a video on motorcycle tire installation

  4. No, that should be about right.

Don't tell me you wanted to plug a front tire?  That is suicide!

  5. Did  you buy the tire there. That is about right for a tire bought some where else. IF that is the price of the tire it is on the low end .

  6. it only costs me around $50 to have both front and back tires put on my rims and I spend around $230.00 for both tires online ,if your taking it in and having them pull the tires and wheels off the bike and mounting tires then that's about what you'll spend per tire to have a shop do a tire change on your bike

  7. Do a Yahoo or Google search for motorcycle tires.

  8. For a decent tire plus installation that's cheap no matter where you go. I usually spend a hundred bucks per tire at least. Think about it man, at 85mph do you want what's cheapest or what's best between you and the pavement.

  9. any small motorcycle shop shouldn't charge more than that. and if you take just the wheel into them it will be even cheaper.
