I read online today that they're planning on taking grey wolves off the list since their population has increased, there was lots of conflict since once they're off the list, hunters are free to kill them off again. I just wanna see what other animals out there are endangered.

  1. http://www.kidsplanet.org/factsheets/map...

This is a very good website. I use it for all of my reports.

  2. go and look at www.care2.com.  this is a brilliant site, and has lots of information that you are seeking.

  3. http://www.iucn.org/themes/ssc/redlist_a...

the book containing the names of the endangered species is known as red data book

  4. You can find a list for the endangered species in www.greenpeace.com and in the site of the united nations, also in www.epa.gov

  5. Here is an official Canadian government site

    http://www.speciesatrisk.gc.ca/

  6. Try this website.

    http://www.fws.gov/endangered/wildlife.h...

  7. IUCN publishes a "Red list of threatened species" on http://www.iucnredlist.org/

    1. Go to their website and click "search"

    2. Scroll down to the "Red List Categories" box

    3. Highlight "endangered"

    4. Click "search"

This lists all the world's endangered species. (The default is to list them by Latin name, but you can see the common names in the second column.)

Then just click on the link in the name to learn more about that particular animal.

ARKive is another good resource: http://www.arkive.org/. It shows images and information on the world's animals.

Not just endangered animals, but each page will tell you if the animal is under threat.

    Hope that helps!
