  1. I'm sure there's a barn somewhere you could hire...

  2. Usually the school just give the school hall don't they? I know some hire a place out, but if your hall is big enough, get a team of people together and go about decorating it good. Maybe even get a huge marquee inside the hall (saw it on tele once!). Usually cheaper to do this aswell.

  3. Village.

  4. how about a social club? sometimes they are free to hire.

    good luck.

  5. Try somewhere thats available for higher at a good price and is somewhere realy special .

  6. the ramada jarvis hotel, Dunston Hall (Went for a suprise birthday there - loved it, they could even do a marquee for you - bearing in mind your budget!), The talk in Norwich (if you want somewhere big but cheap, its not the nicest of venues but you could spruce it up with balloons, ribbons etc and it would look great! It has a large car park too!, Blicking Hall, Sainsburys centre for Visual arts, the UEA, Norwich city football club, Hunters Hall (Dereham),Lynford Hall Hotel, Maybe the holiday inn near the airport? You could rent the ball/conference room which would be plenty big enough, people have weddings there so could be sutiable for you?, The assembly house (Theatre st. Norwich), Sprowston manor hotel,Great yarmouth race course maybe?, Wensum valley golf and country club, other golf/club houses in the area, Local schools (High schools/colleges),Maids head hotel - although im not sure if that place would be big enough? Maybe renting some land and getting a marquee (if the weathers good it would work - i dont fancy walking on a field in heels if its been raining, especially after the floods of last summer

If you want to know other ones, I would recommend calling Norwich city council (city hall) as they'd have a wide list of venues in Norwich and the capacities they can hold. Also if its for a school, and the school is government funded, maybe they could strike a discount or a deal for you?

Another way of searching is maybe googling something like 'Wedding venues in Norwich' then you can search for venues/capacities too and find a sutiable one that way, if their good enough for weddings, there good enough for a prom.

I hope this helps you and if you need any help, feel free to email me
