Where can you obtain old public school records?

Is there any place to obtain old school records for the state of GA? I understand you can get a lot of information from the school forms if you can get them.

Well depends on "old".  Many records have been destroyed by fire or due to lack of storage.  Some may have been microfiched prior to destruction.  Call the school if you know which specific one you're looking at.  If not, call the Georgia Board of Education.  Privacy laws may prohibit you from getting records for which you are not entitled.
