  1. The nursing staff should be alerting the CEO/DON in regards to her behaviour, If she does have Dementia (been tested) then she has the right to physco therapy, and a daily schedule and routine that suits her needs.

Most eldery are only angered out of frustration,I would be looking towards the nursing home and what is actually happening throughout the day, And what kind of care and activities are provided for her.

This lady may be unhappy for simple reasons that could be solved with a better understanding of the person with proper evaluation.

If its a family member stand up i know i work in a nursing home , and what you see as a visitor is quiet diffrent as to whats happening internally.

  2. have a couple of people take tourns watching her

  3. unfortunately I have no idea. My best friend's mom suffers from this disease also. It is not pleasant at all being around her. When I go to his home to visit, I don't even go inside anymore. He meets me outside then we go hang out somewhere just to get him away from that type of environment. This is truly a sad illness! My buddy wants to put her in her own home of some type but doesn't have the funds to such a thing at the moment.
