Where can you recycle used carseats?

Question

I know you can't sell used carseats because of saftey concerns but where can you recycle or dispose of them other than the landfill? To me this is a huge issue that needs to be delt with. Here in Fayetteville NC there are THOUSANDS of carseats just being thrown away.

On Ebay.....

People are always restoring old cars and you might actually make some money by selling them there.

Sanford will recycle the seats for you, but keep in mind he can be quite rude.....

Sell it at a garage sale

Check out freecycle.org and join your local list - you can give and get great used stuff that might otherwise end up in a landfill
