Okay...So I am going into my senior year in high school and I want to run 500 miles this summer to get ready for XC season in the fall. At home, I can easily run 60-70 mile weeks but I am going to Aruba for a week in August (the peak of my training). Does anyone know where I can run in Aruba. Is there even a track there? And please keep in mind that I can't run on the beach....shoes or no shoes...it kills my shins and calves....Let me know if you have any good info or runs or whatnot

  1. I would nor recommend running on the North Coast - sand, rocks, etc.

South Side has small highway going from California Light House to St. Nicolas Refinery  ( about 20-30 miles, not sure about exact mileage). I have seen people running there, when I was driven there myself, but Aruba is not good place to run - very hot and dry weather year around.

  2. There is a paved path that follows the high-rise hotels it runs along the beach. That is definitely good for a few miles. You will want to run early or late because during the day its fairly crowded.

  3. on the beach!

  4. You can run on the road that goes around the island.
