I have tried the jewelry shops, but they want you to trade it in and spend more. And, I have tired a pawn shop, but they only want to give you a small amount compared to its value.I have no children to pass it on to, so I am trying to clean out my jewelry box! Thanks for your help.

  1. Well, maybe you can sell them through online shop...more people watch, more bids up. Like as http://www.houseofnothing.com or craiglist , its no bad sites for selling jewelry online...good luck!

  2. You can have a try at http://www.kanaccasjewelry.com/ . I am a jewelry seller and order jewelry from it,

half a year..it with great products and unbeatable communication. there are some Freshwater pearl necklaces

    Tibet silver bracelets

    Cheap 925 rings

    Liuli

. so much jewelry which are a fanatastic source for the latest trends at a great price.

Fast, courteous service and very easy to shop with on-line checkout.

Your most trustworthy link to Asia,

Always a pleasure dealing with friendly staff who help to find the right products at the right price.

    The right choice!

    Treat yourself to something unique.

I hope that helps and save you some time.

  3. You really can’t. If a jeweler or pawn shop was buying it from you, they’d expect to pay a small enough amount to be able to sell at profit. Otherwise, why bother buying it?

As for selling it to a random person, the buyer would expect to pay less than you think it’s worth because they have no guarantee that they’re really getting what they’re paying for. They have to take your word that it is what you say it is. Jewelry is so specific that it would be hard to find someone else in the world looking for exactly that piece.  If I’m buying a piece that isn’t exactly what I want, I expect to pay less than full price.

  4. I would try to sell it on an auction.

    Chip

  5. jewelry loses its value the minute it leaves the store! its supposed to have more sentimenal value than anything. either you can put it on craigslist with a pic and maybe some guy will want it for his girl or you can try http://www.cash4gold.com/?partnerid=Goog...

i sent in about 5 old pieces and they sent me a decent amount and sent back what they didnt want or you can see what they will give you first. itll be more than the store but still not enough. its better to private sale it like a car.
