I need money and, there is a bunch of unused c**p laying around that I don't need so..

Where besides eBay could you sell DVDs?

Can you sell unused hair products like curling irons, that no longer are in their package? I have about 6+ that I have not used but aren't in their package anymore.

Where can you sell unused books?

And is there a way I can find out the value of jewelry I own? I have a braclet and necklace that were purchased for either right below 100 or above 100, I don't know, and I want to sell them, but I don't know their value.

Please help!

  1. craigs list

and most jewlers will do free appraisals of jewelery

  2. Yard sale, as far as the jewelry is concerned if only retail around $100 seriously is not worth much DVD's could check a pawn shop in fact for all you have stated that would be about the best. But again will not get much for any of it

  3. Best way to find out the value of something is to search the internet and find out what its selling for. Look at completed listings (go into advanced search, then checkmark "completed listings only" to see how much they have sold for in the past).

I dont think curling irons would sell but who knows. You can sell on craigslist, ioffer, ecrater, onlineauction, blujay, plunderhere and newspaper classifieds are usually free if you post it in the online classifieds in your area (print ads cost money).

  4. Probably a pawn shop

I know some small book stores will buy books from people but you will have to look into it
