  1. The best places I think would be:

    a) Any movie that is PG (u don't want to get in trouble by taking them to movies that are PG13).  Ask them which  movie they are dying to see.  Maybe, Hancock (the new Will Smith movie he is a super hero with issues that he ends up working out) Get Smart, and believe it or not Kung Fu Panda they would probably enjoy.  Their big though so I really think asking them is good enough.  If they each pick a movie and can't agree write each name on a piece of paper and put them in a hat and whatever is drawn that is the movie you see.

    b) Take them to an arcade usually Chuckee-Cheese has arcades and they are safe because they don't let the kids wander out.  ( I am sure the 14 year old will love the arcade and you might be surprised to see the 10 year old going through the chuckee cheese tunnels.

    c) To the park take a ball and a packed picnic and play something with them.  Maybe monkey in the middle or dodge ball.  Keep the picnic simple sandwiches, chips, water, and other drinks. ( I am sure they have a ball at home).

    d) Library whether it is the public library or a book store.  Even kids that are not into reading end up finding something they like.

    e) A day at the beach.  Pack a picnic, a blanket, a ball,  and sun tan lotion.

    f) Don't know what area you live but in NY we have activities planned for kids at the park. (such as concerts and plays).

    g) A home fun day: pick a board game or let them bring in video games for the day and just relax...sometimes just doing that is nice.

    h) If you have a "Color Me Mine" store in your area kids and adults of all areas love that.  They pick a ceramic object and paint it and then the workers put it to dry or in an oven and then you can pick it up....I believe the same day.

    I) A museum.  You get to wander around and the day goes by quickly.  Some museums plan scavenger hunts during the summer you just have to contact your local museum.

J)Church depending on the parents religion of course....sounds wierd right? But actually most churches have bible camps during the summer and actually you can just drop in for the day and the kids do arts and crafts for a little while. (the fees are usually really low such as $1.00-$2.00.

I think the parents would be o.k. with you asking for money for the activities so that it won't cut into your money...just a thought.

    Most of all Have FUN!!!!!!

Well, hope I was able to help you.   :)                   :)                   :)

  2. Im sure theyd like Kung fu panda or prince caspian. They rock! Also you could take them for a day out shoppnig or to a funfair or theme park. You could take them to a park or a day out to the beach. But check out those fims they r great for their age and for both genders!

  3. you could take them to the beach for a day or something

but dont force them to do something they dont want to otherwise they will get annoyed

  4. sounds like me and my brother! except we dont get a babysitter! so take them to movies they are allowed to watch! go out to eat or something like that  answer me toohttp://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind...

  5. it really depends where you live. you could take them to a fun historical landmark, e.g. New Lanark in scotland has a ride and a rime machine. i went and it was quite fun. take them to the beach, or you could check out if there is a music place where you can learn to play a tune(s) on a particular instument, like guitar or keyboard. if you have enough money, take them ski-ing, it is fun! you could also just go for a walk or cycle.

there are some good films at the cinema out now which are perfect for the age group of the two children, superhero movie, Narnia: Prince Caspian, and Mamma Mia.
