Where can you take your computer to get it scanned for suspicious hardware or maleware?

some unsavory people got onto my computer. i have tried taking care of it myself but i would like a professional to check it.

where do i go for such service?

Ok, so they physically took your computer and put something in? O_O

Install spybot and avg, and scan all of it, why do you need a "professional" to do it when you could do it yourself and learn a bit.

A local computer shop is pretty reliable (Check your phone book). GeekSquad is a rip off. They charge $150 to look at your computer and say, yup you have a virus.
