Where could I find a cheap-non-digital metronome?

The fancy kind with the actual needle that clicks back and forth...that's not 50 dollars...

  1. Check eBay. At this moment there is a Vintage Seth Thomas De Maelzel Metronome, in a wood case on auction that closes in about 18 hours...current high bid is $24 and its $8 for shipping/insurance.

    It is exactly what you are looking for.

    If you keep watching, you will eventually find one on auction at a decent price, if you don't go for that particular one.


  2. You can't, really, unless you manage to track one down at a garage sale or something like that. Digital ones ARE the cheap ones. I bought my non-digital metronome about ten years ago for $35, and it was the least expensive one in the store. Good luck.
