Give Sony a call - they will be able to advise which repair centres near you will be able to do the repair... However, you will almost definitely find that the cost of repairing your TV will be close to the cost of buying a new one.  If you've cracked the screen, then the whole LCD panel will need replacing - which is by far the most expensive component in the unit

Well the only way to get a cracked LCD TV screen is probably to ship the TV back to its original manufacturer. I doubt that any computer shops will have the parts to fix it. But shipping your tv back to the manufacturer is a expensive process since you will need the post office to specially wrap your tv in layers of foam to protect it from further damage. Unless you purchase a service plan from the place you buy it then you can probably give your tv back to the dealership and probably they will help you ship your tv to the producer. But the shipping and fixing process takes about 2-3 months time . My best bet is to just buy a new tv because without the service plan your shipping cost will probably come to an amount around $800 which is almost two-third of what a new LCD tv cost. I rather buy a new one instead of having to wait 2-3 months time.
