Where could I have a gold rock I have appraised?

It's a rock that has quartz and gold all over. I don't have the official weight but the rock itself could outweigh five dollars worth of U.S. quarters, So I know it has a lot of gold on it.

You need to find an assayer.   Before you get your hopes up too far, there is a mineral called iron pyrite that looks very much like gold.

You need to find an assayers office.  Pawnshops and gold buyers are in business to make money, so I wouldn't trust their appraisals.
