Where could I study/work with a laptop and wireless internet in London?

Dear all,

I would like to know if you could suggest some nice and quiet places in London, in which I could work/study by using a laptop and Wireless Internet Access for long hours. I know that British Library closes at 18:30 or at 20:00 some days. Anything longer than that?

There is a great website that I have used bofore for this and it was very reliable and I got wifi with out any troubles. Not sure if in some places you need a password that is provided by staff. This website has places all around central london and it's surrounding areas. It has logo's for the catagory of place it falls in, such as bar, hotel and cafe. So you get loads of things different from the usual Starbucks.

McDonalds do free wi-fi and Weatherspoons only have a small charge, most hotel bars now do wi-fi too

Starbucks! Every starbucks has wi-fi connection and stuff. And its really quiet not like mcdonalds, and when you go to starbucks, you wont be the only one using a computer. Also you can be sipping a double chocolate chip frapachino! lol myy favorite! Well, hope this helps!

Go to a coffee shop. But you'd have to keep buying coffee.

Or see if you can pick some up from where you live.

Wow, London, and there are not wifi networks everywhere?

I'm in Copenhagen, and I can see 57 - from my apartment!

Maybe turn on your wireless and see!
