My friend is leaning how to drive so I have volunteered to teach him this coming weeks on Sundays. I am curious as to where it would be a good place to teach him some driving skills in the Los Angeles area. I know in this city the traffic is the bread and butter of our streets. Every where you turn there are cars and more cars so realstate is precious that even to practice your driving skills becomes a burden.

Could you recommend any specific area in Los Angeles?

A good parking lot, maybe an empty area or even a clear road anywhere?

We have decided Sundays since it is a bit more quiet and less traffic.

According to my friend, driving classes from the local schools only give you certain time to practice but to him is not enough.

  1. Weekend, A Mall Parking lot, and  It's almost Christmas... that would be hard for any driver.

Maybe try an empty business park in your area.

  2. Where in LA are you?

Try driving out into the suburbs somewhere, or the westside, and find a Target or Wal-Mart, or a mall, and use their parking lot.

  3. Go to a Mall parking lot, walmart or lowes when they close up and you have the whole parking lot.
