Not babysitting. My mum wont let me, she thinks it is too dangerous! & I already look after all the little kids we know for free, so im not going to suddenly start charging! I mean like a child care or something?

  1. Well child care in a way can be like baby sitting. Anyways, most places won't hire at 15, its rare and if you do. But maybe day cares, or if you just want to take care of them for free, then you can go donate your time and help on with local volunteer centers.

  2. you cant legally get a job in child care untill you are qualified so you need to go to college and study it. im am studying child care learning and development and i have to volunteer in a nursery once a week to do the coarse. if you like kids it is an interesting coarse and you will enjoy doing it. good luck

  3. hiya,

when i was 14 i got a job in a day care nursery and i staid there untill i was 17, i got into the job threw my teacher at school, she arranged it for me as extended work experience and i did that every tuesday and thursday.

    xx

  4. you cannot legally work in a childcare centre under the age of 18. your only option of a job looking after children is babysitting.

  5. You could try applying for jobs at places like indoor playgrounds, or play centres (such as Lollipops playland or Playmaze). Most of these places require parents to supervise their children, but you could possibly find a job as an assistant, or a birthday party hostess. Similarly, you could try applying for work at a fast food restaurant as a children's birthday party hostess.

To be included in the adult:child ratio at a childcare centre you must be 18, so it is unlikely to be hired under the age of 18.
