  1. First off you'll need a work permit so some people might be put off hiring you. However if you like animals check out kennels or boarding catteries (i got my first job when i was 13 at a local boarding cattery). Or you could try local corner shops. They'll sometimes hire younger people. You might be able to get a job working in a creche or something to do with kids (although you might need a police background check to work with kids, but i'm guessing at you're age you've not gotten into anything illegal yet so that shudn't be a problem).

Also you could check out adds for like personal help. You might be able to get a cash-in-hand job helping out an elderly person or something with their cleaning.

Anyways, all the best, hope that helps or at least gets the ball rolling for a good brain-storming session.

  2. Try applying at The Mall, my first job was at Auntie Anne's Pretzels, it was food service without being a McDonalds or typical Fast Food style place. Clothing Stores or Grocery Stores would also be a good place to check. You can try a catering service or other country club.

Babysitting at 15 is probably only something you get by word of mouth. With no child minding qualifications you'll probably won't be able to advertise properly as a babysitter. If you're generally seen to be responsible and sensible, just mention to some of your family and to friends of the family that you're willing to babysit.

Work is hard to get before you're of school leaving age. I applied to a supermarket when I was 14 and I was told, basically, that it would be too complicated to employ a young person, because of the restrictions on hours and no doubt because of insurance and other things.

Sometimes, if they're still allowed to do it, newsagents employ under 16s for paper rounds, as do some of the distributors of local free (advertisement) newspapers and leaflets. Ask around! If you have the support of someone with a car, you can apply to deliver catalogues or the yellow pages. I'm sure google or yahoo! search will point you in the right direction for that.

Good luck with finding a job!

  4. loads of kids seen selling the evening standard out side stations, i know they pay you £50 a week and that's for doing a couple of hours work Mon to Fri.

  5. just ask your school they can get u work experiance

  6. You can work in food chain or restaurant. I think by your age you are a high school graduate. They hire people like you. But if you really like to baby sit, then you have to go from house to house and offer your service. Or maybe there's an agency in your place for baby sitters. You can approach or apply there. Hope this helps

  7. Hairdressers, McDonalds, Newspaper round, cleaning cars in the summer, walking dogs.

  8. for the babysitting issue, you could advertise in your local paper or something.  have you tried applying for your local supermarket, or any clothes shops, they always need new people.
