  1. Hi!!

Well firstly, I would suggest you get some acting training (maybe a local drama class) and maybe take a few years of lessons. This will make you know your craft better!! Plus you're only 11, thats a great age to start! Taking these lessons will not only make you a better actor but more confident which agents love to see!

When you think you're ready for an agent then start auditioning. Look in your local newspaper or internet and start calling. Remember: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY THEM TO BE YOUR AGENT!!! Usually the additional fees are for your headshot only!!!! Your agent will find work for you! They will give u auditions to go to and you have to work your butt off to get the part!!! The casting agents not only look at you as an actor but how much experience you have!!

To answer your question, there aren't many 'safe' people and I can't suggest any auditions or shows for you to audition for.

But might I just add, when you get the experience you will not only be a great candidate for disney/nickelodeon shows but other 'serious' roles!!!

Acting is a hard business but if you have the passion and love for the craft then never let anybody stop you!

But remember, acting is only for people who love it, not for people who do it for the fame because you'll go nowhere.

Plus, when you think you're ready for an agent you will be older. Children from around 11-15 don't get as much work as others eg- 0-10 or 16-up if you know what I mean.

    Break a leg!

  2. Lots of classes - lots of plays and musicals.

    Professional headshots

go to http://www.sag.org/node/667 and pick your city/state and there will be a list of LEGIT SAG franchised agencies in that area. You can send your professional headshot and resume to those agencies and hope one will call you for an interview..

  3. go here to look for auditions: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom).  but be sure to ask your parents first.
