Where could i buy a tarantula in new york city???

ive been doin my homework on them but i dont know where to find one could someone plz help much aprreciated:D

most pet stores have them. try your local pet stores to see if they do.

Do not go to ust any pet store. Seek out one that specializes in reptiles. I have seen far too many "general" pet stores being as pathetic as having the staff afraid of the T's. So it is very likely that a T from there would be ill and die quickly. Try the phone book to locate good pet stores.

I suggest you find a reptile expo, maybe ask some pet stores about them, or a breeder. These are sort of like conventions for breeders to sell their animals. So you will not only find a healthy T, but probably some rarer kinds at a wonderful price.
