Where could i find records of deaths in a hospital?

My Sister died 9 days after she were born in 1983, she died in leicester royal infirmary and the hospital sorted out everything so my parents didn't have to do a funeral. i want to know where her remains/ashes were put. how could i find this out

  1. This is something YOUR parents have to ask they will not disclosed any information to anyone but the parents and they do keep records up to a certain age i think its 10 years then they are destroyed because there is no room.


  2. I think you'd have to just contact the hospital and look through their archives.

    I don't know how it works in other countries, but typically in the U.S. there's a choice if you want to have a funeral. if you don't then (I really ahte to say this) they don't bury the child or anything and don't have a final resting place.

    I'm hoping perhaps something is different and maybe there is a place she might be?

    Again, I would just have to ask the hospital....
