China has pretty cheap stuff. It really just depends on the color of the DS and whether it's a DS lite or not

Use price comparison site's on the net or look in game shops, for preowned ds's. You might be lucky and get a good deal on ebay as well.

I went to the flea market once and there was this DS. Not DSlite though. It was about $30 and still new so I recommend you to try the flea market.
