I've been able to buy it in hardware/home stores. It's commonly sold in large sheets for use in large fluorescent light fixtures, so a lighting store may have it, too. You may be able to find it in a craft or fabric store - egg-crate was sold as an accessory for the 'Quil-tac' quilt basting gun, among other uses.
