Where did Ari's Diner go?

I lived in Florence for 5 months and went to Ari's at least twice a week, now I hear it's gone, why?!

I was studying in Florence when Ari's first opened.  We'd leave Dolche and head there afterwards.  It's been almost two years since I've been to Florence but my friend who's studying there now said that it was losing money so it went out of business.  I don't know how it could not catch on, in a city where there's so many American students studying abroad.  I think the overhead costs were just too much to handle, considering he had to import so many of the ingredients and items on the menu because you can't find them reasonably in Italy.  I'm assuming you studied abroad in Florence as well considering you said you lived there for five months.  Where did you study at?
